Cookie Policy
Last updated: 31 May 2026
This page explains what cookies and similar technologies we use on nopas.co.uk and how you can control them. For everything else we do with your personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are used to remember preferences, keep you signed in, measure usage and show relevant ads. Similar technologies (local storage, pixels, SDKs) work the same way and are covered by this policy.
2. How we use cookies
We group cookies into three categories. Only the first category loads automatically. The other two only load if you give consent via our cookie banner.
Strictly necessary (always on)
These are required for the site to work. They remember your cookie choice, protect against basic security threats and keep the contact form working. They cannot be turned off.
- nopas_consent_v1: stores your cookie preferences for 12 months. First-party local storage.
Analytics (opt-in)
Anonymous usage data so we can see which pages help and which don’t. Only loads if you tick “Analytics” in the cookie banner.
- Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*): visit counts, source, pages viewed. Set by Google, kept up to 13 months.
- Google Tag Manager: loads the analytics and advertising tags above. No cookies of its own.
Marketing & advertising (opt-in)
Helps us measure whether ads we paid for actually led to enquiries, and show relevant ads on Google. Only loads if you tick “Marketing & advertising” in the cookie banner.
- Google Ads (_gcl_au, _gcl_aw, gclid): conversion measurement and click attribution. Up to 90 days.
- Corem8 lead tracking: matches a website visit to an enquiry so we can see which ads work. First-party identifier.
3. Google Consent Mode v2
We use Google Consent Mode v2. Before you choose, Google’s tags load in a privacy- safe state (no cookies, no personal identifiers). They only fire fully if you accept the relevant categories. If you reject, no analytics or advertising cookies are set.
4. Manage your preferences
You can change your cookie choices at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies directly in your browser:
Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may stop the site working properly.
5. Changes to this policy
When we add or remove a cookie we update this page and bump the version of our consent record so you are asked again. The “last updated” date at the top shows when the policy last changed.
